Jobs to the people-Phase-I
This is a job site where job seekers can post their resume and search for a suitable job. Employers can advertise vacancies and search the database for the right candidates. The site uses matchmaking model. This site differs from other job sites because the job advertised in this site varies from the higher end spectrum to the lower end. The site is expected to generate high volume traffic, as there are approximately 5 million unemployed people in the state. The Internet penetration is expected to increase dramatically once the proposed Community Internet Project makes the net rural people friendly. (Community Internet project proposes to convert the existing PCO in the state to Internet Kiosks.) The commercial launching of the web site is expected shortly. The development of the site was undertaken by Microsoft Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd. for the Government of Kerala and was assigned to Saasvaap Techies (Pvt.) Ltd. through Alliance Info systems, Bangalore.
Veedu-The house
This is an intranet, which contains 3D images of thirty building plans designed by the technical agencies identified by the Government of Kerala for the massive housing scheme campaign "Thanal" under the universally acknowledged "People’s Plan Campaign". It provides a virtual live-in feeling; the potential customer can see the interior details as well as the outside elevations. The pre-programmed walk- through will last for 60 sec.
The Intranet also gives information about loan and mortgage schemes. Besides, it offers to consumer’s relevant information on all kinds of building materials. In each of these options, the changes in visual impact as well as the estimate will also be made known.
The Intranet is designed to provide informed choices regarding the plan, elevation and materials for your home. By facilitating easy decision-making the Intranet enables one to conceive, plan, choose and actually build one’s house in a cost-effective manner. The project was done for the Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala.Total software solution for civil engineering works in local bodies
The project is for developing estimates for civil engineering applications in local bodies in Kerala. The physical model of the system comprises three modules: Graphical Editor, Estimation and Data Bank. The Graphical Editor module helps the user to create Plan, Sections, Elevations, Longitudinal Sections and Cross Sections of Roads, Working drawings, etc.
The estimation module helps the user to create and manage details of materials in a more organized manner. It can generate the detailed quantities of civil items of standard materials described earlier with graphical input and generate and update tender data files, etc. Different types of abstract estimates with analyzed rates or any given rate can also be obtained.
The data bank module assists the user to maintain a common data system with almost all data required for all types of projects. The data system can be edited or customized to suit user's requirement. This project has been developed for Information Kerala Mission (Mission Group) formulated by the Government of Kerala to computerize the local bodies.

GEC-IDUKKI Government Engineering College
TSecretariat is the administrative nerve center of the state of Kerala. The building houses the various Government departments. So often, a dossier prepared in one department has to traverse several others for perusal and orders. Naturally, file tracking becomes tedious and a drudgery. However, this application developed for Microsoft aims to automate the workflow and file movement within a department. The application is developed using Microsoft tools like MS SQL Server 2000, Visual studio 7.0 and MS Exchange 2000.My Home Manager Portal
A vertical portal, which works closely with myHomeManager and provides a layer of services like recipe exchange, wine order and other related day to day household activities. It also provides facilities for bank transaction through partners.
In the first phase the focus was more on the recipe side. From the client, users can log on directly to the portal and use variety of services. They can create a profile and can plan recipes for the week. They can add recipes to their favorites collection. The portal keeps a huge database of varied recipes. Users can search this collection and can download these recipes for use with myHomeManager. Users can publish their personal recipes to the portal from the client.
The portal also provides facilities for shopping. The portal gives facilities to partner companies to publish their products or services. The portal manages the shopping cart and sent order to respective partners. Recipe services are provided through rezeptonline.com
The portal also features sales and support of myHomeManager software. The users of myHomeManager can utilize this powerful web end. They can download latest updates or patches for the product. These patches are so designed that they update the client software without any huge download overhead. The product support services are provided through myhomemanager.com. The portal plans similar web support for all the modules of myHomeManager.
The portal is developed for Innovative Software, Switzerland and is developed using the tools: ASP, SQL Server, XML and Macromedia Dreamweaver UltraDev.
UBS KeyShop
The project is being done for UBS - a premier Swiss bank, which is the largest private bank in Europe. UBS maintains KeyClub, members of which get E-Points when they make various transactions with the bank or when they use the UBS Credit Card. KeyShop is the online shopping mart maintained by UBS where KeyClub Members can purchase products with their E-Points. KeyShop is a pluggable component of the UBS website. It is done using JSP and Servlets. XML has also been used extensively. The design of the component follows the Controller View Model. The back end is an Oracle 8i client running on Solaris. The project includes a client part as well as flexible admin module. The application is being deployed on IBM Websphere. Macromedia Dreamweaver Ultradev 3 was used to create the JSPs for the application.
Ortho Manager
Ortho Manager is comprehensive and modular software designed and developed in close association with a team of leading Orthodontists. Ortho Manager is feature-rich, Specialist friendly package and offers facilities like patient dossiers, appointment scheduling, past history, reports and analyses. In short, the package is broadly divided into five modules to make clinical practice more organized and systematic. The modules are:

Gurukulam-The School
This is an integrated school management software. The software was designed after an extensive curricular, co curricular and extracurricular study conducted by the Saasvaap team in Kerala.
